Video Conferencing

Synchronous online learning is basically learning that occurs at the same time, doing step by step with the instructor at the same time. Dimdim is a perfect sample of synchronous online learning. Using this Dimdim software allows you to video conference with other, share documents, and communicate with each other via web cam. The advantages of dimdim is that it is free. You can video conference with up to 20 people for free, but other special features are included in a different version of dimdim that can also allow you to connect with over 2o people at a time. And you can connect with anyone in the world as long as others have ample internet access. Dimdim security is limited along with the control over those who organize these online video conferencing, and less control of those who attend, to either connect or keep their attention or actions.

Training in Technology & e-Learning 2.0 readings

Findings in the readings are interesting as to find that it is very true.  The technology of training basically talking about how organizations are spending more money on employees to be trained on then them doing actual work.  One idea I had about technology these days are becoming more fresh and by the time one program comes out, the next month there is a additionally fresh version of the same program.  Technology is advancing greatly in every work aspect in the world today.  Even those who are well trained in technology are upgraded immediately, and require of new program training.  But society today is advancing rapidly by outside resources such as internet, media is promoting the curiosity of how to reproduce their own projects.  Society automatically picks up ways to progress in the technology industry by merely reading and learning from outside resources.  Along those lines developing other ideas from e-learning 2.0 making learning rapidly effective and available.  The technology that we have to day, if we learn how to utilize it correctly can be 100% effective to our many different aspects of our diverse careers.  What is unique about it as well, is the effect that technology today saves company budgets.  Instead of sending company employees half way across the world for a week to train and meet with program creators and instructor, technology has advanced us to a new life of Video conferencing, and e-mail accessible communication.
